2026 proved that the format travels. Four editions in four countries (Guadalajara, Quito, Buenos Aires and Medellín) brought together more than 7,700 attendees and handed out 35 awards. Now the 2027 calendar is set: four editions, opening in Guadalajara in May and closing in a brand-new destination, San José, Costa Rica, in November.
One note before the details. The month and city of each edition are confirmed, but exact dates and venues are still to be announced, and we are not going to guess them here. Guadalajara, Mexico — May 2027

The calendar opens where 2026 began. The Guadalajara debut, on February 27–28, 2026, closed with 2,500+ attendees, 75 exhibitors, 32 speakers, 18 countries and 7 awards, and ran bilingual, with simultaneous translation into Spanish and English. In May 2027 FX Expo returns to Jalisco, in Mexico’s second-largest city and a hub with a thriving fintech scene.
Medellín, Colombia — July 2027

Medellín is where FX Expo Global debuted, in May 2025, and it remains the home base of the series. The edition that has just closed, on October 22–24, 2026, recorded 4,500 registrations and 2,200 attendees, with 21 speakers, 20 sponsors and 13 awards. Quito, Ecuador — September 2027

Quito hosted the first FX Expo in Ecuador on May 29–30, 2026 and delivered the strongest debut of the series: 4,279 registrations, 1,500+ attendees, 120 VIP guests, 15 sponsor companies and 7 awards. In September 2027 the show returns to Ecuador’s capital. Read the Quito 2026 recap.
San José, Costa Rica — November 2027

A brand-new destination joins the circuit. San José will host the first FX Expo in Costa Rica in November 2027, bringing a Central American perspective to forex and fintech and connecting traders across the region. It is the edition that closes the 2027 calendar.
What to expect at every edition
The four 2026 editions followed one blueprint, and it is the format of the series. Each city adds its own character, and the detailed program of every 2027 edition will be announced once it is confirmed, but the building blocks will be familiar:
VIP night
A closed-door evening before the expo opens, bringing sponsors, executives and top traders together. In 2026 it gathered 120 guests in Quito and 75 in Buenos Aires.
Free-entry expo
General admission is free with registration. The expo floor combines the main stage, exhibitor booths and networking areas.
FX Experts Cup
The live trading tournament on the expo floor: real-time trading in front of the audience, with prizes for the best traders.
FX Expo Global Awards
The recognition ceremony that closes each edition. In 2026, 35 awards were handed out across the four editions.
Speakers, agendas and venues will be announced edition by edition.

Sponsorship for the 2027 editions is open. The structure is the same across the series: seven tiers from Titanium to Startup, individual sponsored items and spaces (the official lanyard, the registration kiosk, the VIP night, the Trading Arena and more), conference and awards packages, and sponsorships of the FX Experts Cup. Pricing is on request, and sponsored items and spaces depend on availability, so the earlier you ask, the more options you have.
