Three days, three venues and one city. FX Expo Medellín 2026 ran from October 22 to 24 and closed with 4,500 registrations, 2,200 attendees, 21 speakers on the main stage, 20 sponsors and 13 industry awards.
It was the third FX Expo in Medellín, the city where the series began, and the fourth and last edition of the 2026 calendar after Guadalajara, Quito and Buenos Aires. Together, the four editions drew more than 7,700 attendees in four countries and handed out 35 awards. Our 2026 year in review has the full picture.
Set against the rest of the year, the registration count is the highest of any 2026 edition that published one, ahead of Quito (4,279) and Buenos Aires (3,500+). The 13 awards are the most of any 2026 ceremony, against 7 in Guadalajara, 7 in Quito and 8 in Buenos Aires, and the 20 sponsors compare with 15 in Quito and 12 in Buenos Aires. The full results live on the FX Expo Medellín 2026 results page.
October 22: the VIP Night at Diez Hotel
The edition opened on Thursday, October 22 at Diez Hotel with the VIP Night, the evening that starts every FX Expo: a separate room for sponsors, CEOs and top traders, designed for long conversations rather than quick handshakes. AP Markets was the VIP Event sponsor.

It is the format that has worked since the first Medellín edition: a separate space for the conversations where partnerships begin, the night before the doors open to everyone.
October 23 and 24: two days of free expo at El Tesoro
On Friday and Saturday the doors of Centro de Eventos El Tesoro opened at 10:00 and the floor stayed open until 19:00. General admission was free with registration, and the edition closed with 2,200 attendees. On stage and on the floor were the brokers, prop firms, academies and traders moving the industry in Latin America.
Twenty-one speakers took the main stage across the two days, among them Camilo Corredor of Exura Prime, Pedro Calvo of AP Markets, Michel Cohen of PU Prime, Gleynner Mendoza of Soluciones Crypto and Sebastián García of Academia de Trading. Each day also featured an interview panel with brokers, academies and technology providers, and attendees could connect with each other through the official event app.

The FX Experts Cup, live on the floor
On Friday, October 23 at 13:00 Colombia time, the expo floor became a trading floor. The FX Experts Cup, the series' live trading tournament, ran for 40 minutes on MT5 in front of the audience, with cash prizes of up to $3,000 USD on offer and the final ranking decided by equity at the close. This edition's tournament was backed by VexPro and Exura Tech. Learn more about the FX Experts Cup.

The 13 winners of the FX Expo Global Awards
The expo closed with the FX Expo Global Awards — Medellín 2026: 13 awards across seven categories, recognizing the brands and people building the Latin American trading ecosystem. Here is every winner. The Awards page keeps the full history of winners.

Market Close: the night moves to Hi, I'm SCI Club
When the expo closed on Saturday, October 24, the night moved to Hi, I'm SCI Club for Market Close, the official after-party, running from 10 pm to 4 am. Market Close made its debut with this edition, co-sponsored by Vonix and Zira Productions.

20 sponsors behind the edition
A total of 20 sponsors backed Medellín 2026, from brokers and liquidity providers to academies, fintechs and technology companies. Four Titanium sponsors led the lineup (Soluciones Crypto, PU Prime, VexPro and Vonix), joined by four Platinum sponsors (Exura Prime, AP Markets, Exura Tech and Capital Street), two Gold sponsors (Academia de Trading and Lazza Global) and ten Silver and Startup brands.
Several of them powered specific experiences: Vonix sponsored the official lanyards, PU Prime the registration kiosk, Exura Prime the Trading Arena, Academia de Trading the activities and VexPro the networking zone. Their support helped keep general admission free.
Thank you to every sponsor, speaker, attendee and team member who made Medellín 2026 possible.
